What is a Turkish Christmas? This is one question even we don’t have an answer for, but we will find out. The Harem of No One is on the return for the holiday season and is bringing the Turkey to the Glory: not to cook and eat, but to dance as Christmas Halay. This is a sunday gathering to unite all in a communal dance or namely a Halay, hand in hand, all in rhythm, loud and messy, faboulous as can be.
The original Tuckish Delight Cazeleon, will be headlining the Halay, joined by Darlink Dick, Doganalp Dulkadir, Martha Barbra, Sissy Sis and Tahini Molasses; all of them with songs and performances to be remembered with awe for years to come and make all of your holiday season wishes come true while Toby Kind will be on decks, shuffling the beats of this quirky halay. Lastly, for the first time The Harem of No One is hosting The All-Inclusive Runway open to all guests who would like to participate.
Halay is never complete without everyone else joining in, spinning, spiraling all around the hall. What we wish for this Christmas is to see you with us, to celebrate what we are grateful for and to wish for what we deserve; to show that we can still express our identities without fear or judgment and while embracing our roots and memories.
