The Harem of No One is back for another event! And this time, we are getting “physical” !
Our first event, an online party bringing together queer performers and drag queens from Istanbul in the basement floor of Glory, was in May. All of the money raised by this event was sent to the artist to support them in their creations and their ongoing struggle to perform and self-express in a city becoming increasingly challenging for queer community.
After taking a moment for those who were there to refresh their memories of that amazing night, we present you The Harem of No One, the sequel to the online event and a night to dance together again, this time face-to-face, body-to-body, featuring local legend Cazeleon, the Tuck’ish Delight and their unique cabaret set; a belly dance show by Doğanalp Dulkadir along with Martha Barbra and Kitana Vise’s debut performances on the sparkling stage of the Glory.
This will be a night of celebration of our cultural identities as well as our gender and sexual identities in freedom, together. We love you no matter where you are from or who you are or what language you speak; so don’t let the name misguide you, this is a night for all and there will be the right amount of regional clichés for all to enjoy and this is a promise!
